Project Name: Implementation of HDPE Corrugated Drainage Systems for Large-Scale Agricultural Land
Project Location: Agricultural Regions, El Salvador, Central America
Project Overview: This project involved the design and installation of a subsurface drainage network for high-value farmland in El Salvador. In this region, heavy seasonal rainfall and high groundwater levels often lead to soil waterlogging and salt accumulation, which can significantly hinder crop yields. The objective was to create a reliable system to collect and remove excess water from the root zone efficiently.
We provided a specialized series of perforated HDPE corrugated pipes, specifically engineered for agricultural subsurface drainage. The high-density polyethylene material was selected for its exceptional resistance to soil chemicals and fertilizers, while the corrugated design provided the necessary flexibility and structural strength to be installed at various depths across uneven terrain.
